  1. My grandmother said it was a Denny Driscoll from Grange (2 1/2 miles south west of Timoleague) made her first pair of shoes, and she was six months going for them before she got them.
    One day she was walking along the road she struck her toe against a stone and cut it and she did not care as long as she had not her new shoes on her.
