  1. My grandfather told me that at that time people used to meet funerals at night very often. There was a man who built a little house for a couple of cows too far out on the old road where funerals used to be seen passing by night. He had to take it down again. The cows used to be turned out every night.
    The farmers burned lime stone in their lime kilns in those times and the fairies had light there by night. I suppose they were burning lime too.
