  1. Many, many years ago there lived in Cul-na-cleithí a robber whose only object in life was to rob the rich of their money and to carry it off to some hidden place and hoard it.
    Once this robber had been a thriving farmer named Twomey, but now that he was outlawed his only thought was revenge.
    His hide-out was situated under a tree that grew in a path near the river then. His only and faithful friend was a black horse named "Lightning" called so because he carried his master so swiftly and surely.
    Many were the onslaughts he made on the rich people and much was the money he hoarded up in his secret place.
    His faithful horse was often a great assistant to his master, living up to his name by carrying his master with the
