  1. Long ago, there were two men went to graveyard to make a grave for a friend of theirs that was dead They had a long way to go to the graveyard. When the two men went into the graveyard to make the grave it was late. They went to make the grave, when they had the grave half made they took up a lot of bones out of the grave and left them one side, until they would make the grave deeper, and then they would put down the bones into the grave.
    There were a lot of skulls to be put down into the grave. There was a sort of a hill in the graveyard, and there was a path down the hill, one of the men was walking down the hill for a spade that he had left at the butt of the hill. What rolled down the hill after him? but a man's scull, and the man ran down the hill before the scull, until he came to a bit of a stick and he took the stick and said that the scull was not going to follow him about the place, the man hit the scull and what ran out of the scull? but a rat and ran into an old wall.
