There was a fort there in the olden times. There was one old ruin in our village. Some of the people are gone to America and the rest are dead. The land is hilly and there are some beautiful fields in it.
The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying. there is no wood growing in my townland. the houses were more plentiful long ago.
