    lived there. He was a labouring man and there is not a trace of the house to be seen to day.
    At The turn below our house (there was another house and a man called "Donnacdha Douse" (Dan Donnoghue) lived there and his wife was called "Nell a' Mhaidhe".
    There is another old ruin to be seen on Cuilneach Hill and there were Walshe's living there. There is a garden near this and the signs of the ridges can still be seen in it.
    There is another old ruin in Mac Carthy's farm where there were Bebbins living. These were labourers.
    The most of these houses were built with either mud or a rough stone walls and all of them had a thatch roof.
