  1. One night long ago when my grandfather and my grandmother were returning home from my great-grandmother's house they heard great talk and traffic on the road behind them. A saddle-horse they had at the time and when they heard all the traffic they quickened their speed.
They had just turned up the borheen when a funeral passed.
My great-grandmother who was sick at the time died next day.
When they saw the funeral they knew that somebody was dying.
The funeral was mostly composed of people walking.
