This was a kind of kidney trouble. It was usually cured by an herb that grows out in the field. This herb was known as 'Golden Rod' It grew very strong and had a golden flower on the top, hence its name. This was gathered and boiled and the juice given to the patient to drink , sometimes it would be mixed with milk
