    sign of broken weather. Sometimes we see the dog eating grass. This is another sign of rainy or bad weather. If it is raining in the early part of the day and if a horse is seen standing under a bush it is a sign that it will not clear off during the day. Beside those there are other signs of broken weather If the air is heavy or if there are blue blazes in the fire, or if the cricket is singing sharply are signs of rain. If there are multitudes of flies flying about and especially in the shade we are likely to have rain. If there is much smoke in a house is a great sign of frost.
