    he used to sit on a window-sill and play tunes on his mouth organ for the children and tell them stories. He was poor but the people liked him so much that he had enough of bread butter sugar and tea. He travelled on foot and would sometimes be selling studs and pins, that was all he used to sell. None of these call now for the past few years, because the guard who don't allow them to go around begging unless they sing or do something.
