    A man named Hogan calls to our home every Christmas.

    Some people bring him in and give him some tea, and he gives them all the news of the West and everything that happened while he was there. He travels on foot and if he meets any old caravan they may give him a lift to another town.
    All the people were disappointed when he didn't come to our town this Christmas but after, we heard that he was found dead on a roadside near Carlow.
