  1. One morning there was a man going to a fair. It was early on a Winter morning and so it was dark. It was also cold, and dreary. He was travelling along a very lonely road and as he had no company he felt lonely.
    At last he saw a light in the distance. He was delighted and said he would hurry on and be along with whoever it was. He hastened, but on coming near he saw it was a funeral. He came closer and he recognised his deceased friends walking
