    A circle around the moon denotes bad weather the nearer the circle to the moon, the farther away the rain, the farther away the circle, the nearer the rain.
    Red shades in the sky in the evening time is another sign of rain.
    Red in the East in the morning shows rain is coming.
    A rainbow in the East in the evening is a sign of an improvement in the weather.
    Wind from the East brings rain.
    A North wind bring snow.
    Twinkling stars show frost is coming.
    When robins sing in the evening it is a sing of rain.
    When wagtails come about the house, cold weather is to be expected.
    If frogs turn black rain is sure to come.
    When all the farm yard animals show signs of being sleepy, rain is on the way.
    Blue blazes in the fire denote bad wet weather.
