  2. About ten years ago, there lived in Sallins three miles from Naas, a woman who was supposed to be in communication with the fairies. Every morning when she awoke she found that the ashes from the previous day had been cleaned away, and a half-crown left on the hearth.
    In Oldtown on de Burgh's domain, there are two terraces. In olden days these terraces served as hiding places for the Irish soldiers, and the fairies are supposed to live there now.
