    Stye on eye: A strange married lady to rub her marriage ring on the eye once each day for three days.
    Swellings: rub a cold stone for three minutes and the swelling will go down.
    Stings: Rub a wet dock leaf on the place where the sting is.
    Burns: Plaster soad bread and buttermilk as soon as you can after it happens and the blister will not come on.
    Boils: Eat young nettles which have been bolied.
    Goitre: Take three drops of Frecnh Iodine in three teaspoonfuls of water.
    Sprained foot: Let running water flow around the affected part.
