  1. Moll. Anthony was a witch doctor, who lived on the red hills of Kildare. It was believed that she cured horses and cows of certain diseases. Once a man, named Mr O'Neill had race horses on the hill. One valuable horse became paralized and he brought it to Moll. Anthony in order to obtain its cure. She said that he was to give the horse the herb that she would give him. She also said that she would know whether he would give the animal the herb, or not. If he delayed to give it until a certain time it would not take effect. The man forgot about the herb, until two minutes after the time appointed. The horse therefore was not cured. It is believed that the fairies paralized the horse.
