  1. Holy Wells
    St. Bridget's well is on the land of Mr. Lyons, Kill and years ago when people had toothaches or ear aches they went to the well and tied a piece of ribbon or a lead on a little bush which is beside it. Then they prayed and were cured usually. St. Bridget's well flows down by the moat in Kill and into the river at Mr. Broughals.

  2. There is a holy well at Lacken. It is called St. Boden's well. Many people are cured here. My mother was cured from neuritis some years ago.
