    neck to a stake. A Moilee cow is sometimes tied with a horse's slip(a halter) because she can pull her head out of the chain however tightly it may be tied.
    Some farmers fasten the cows in bales. These are two planks of wood one fixed the other on a pivot. The cow puts her head between the plank the mor plank is pulled in and fastened in position. The cows head is too big to be pulled through as here she remains until the fastening is opened.
    The milking is done regularly night and morning. Each farmer milks at a fixed time as far as possible. The usual times in this district are 8 o'clock in the morning and 8 o'clock in the evening.
