  1. There are games played at Halloween such as, burning nuts, and cracking nuts.
    Some children make bird traps in the winter, try putting food under a riddle tying a piece of cord to it, and propping the riddle up with a piece of stick as that the bird will get in at the food. When the bird goes in under the riddle to pick the food, the cord is pulled, the riddle falls, and the bird is inside.
