  1. An Old Story
    In Freshford Co. Kilkenny there was a large wood of very old oak trees. It was said that these trees were hundreds of years old.
    A party of wood-cutters were sent out to this wood to cut down some trees. They decided to cut down some of those thick oaks. It took alot of trouble and alot of time. In the evening when the wood-cutters had gone home a trapper was out looking at his traps and he said he heard soft moaning from the wood. Of course no one would believe him.
    That very night around midnight most terrifying screams were heard coming
