  1. Patrick Peters was born near Castlehale about eighty years ago. He died about ten years ago aged seventy five.
    The following poem was made by him about an old woman who lived in Ballintee:-
    "As night assumed her noble plume
    And cast her gloom afar,
    The evening moon slipped off too soon
    In "co" with the evening star.
    The western wind all day confirmed
