  1. There is only one tailor and two dressmakers. Once a tailor lived in Waterford and some people say he he had magic power. He had a friend living in Ballynooney, Mullinavat named John Reade. One night a horse and harness was stolen on his friend in Ballynooney. The cuprit could not be found, so he told the tailor about his loss. The tailor came to Mullinavat and gave John Reade a mirror to look into. He looked and saw the face of a strange man. The tailor told him that that was the face of the thief. The guards were notified and the culprit was found. He was sentenced and put to jail.
