    without a bridle. The boy followed the horse and leaped on his back and held there in spite of all his bucking and leaping. Before the boy dismounted he had the horse as quiet as a lamb.
    The lord's son got his trial with the deer. He could not come near the speed of the widow's son. Then he got his trial with the horse but as soon as he mounted him he was thrown heavily to the ground and was seriously injured. When the lord saw this he ordered the widow's son to be hanged and when the widow heard this she said that the river and the road would run through his castle and her words have come true.
