There were a man over sixty years ago and he was from a place called Knocklong.
The Landlord wanted his place. He went twice to the landlord with his rent, but the landlord would not take it from him he wanted his place. He went the third time and he told him the third time he did not want his rent he wanted his place.
He then said to the Landlord if you dont take the rent, take that shooting him.
He travelled through the Co Tipperary and into (Owing) Owning which is five miles from Tobar-na-brón.
From Owning he came to Kill in the County Waterford.
Our house was the first on the street of Kill and he came in and stopped for the night.
I was quite young and I heard him telling my father what he was after doing.(continues on next page)
