    Whooping Cough = is cured by walking three times under a donkey's legs in honour of the three Persons, or by bread on which the donkey breathes.
    Another cure for it is a little plant to be found in moss and to boil it with milk.
    Ring worm = Only certain people have the power to cure ring worm with a piece of stick reddened in the fire and the sign of the cross made on the part afflicted and certain prayers said.
    Warts = Only certain people can cure warts with straws.
    There's a man in our locality able to perform it.
    There's two wheaten straws got and crossed on the wart, while the person is saying prayers, then the straws
