    noticed continually gazing at the moon shining brightly down on the country side and when questioned he said that treasure was somewhere near for he saw the man hiding it "fornint the moon". The boot full of gold was never found and it still remains hidden in Castleruby. The place is all pitted with holes and the moon occasionally shines brightly down there, all of which go to prove that the story is true.
    As related by Domnick Kelly, 75 years old, of Lisheen next townland to Casteruby
