    Local Cures
    When a person has the foul mouth he goes to a person who never saw his father and that person blows his breath three times on him. This cure can only be performed on Mondays and Thursdays. The cure for the whooping-cough is a ferrets leavings. Another cure for the whooping cough is to go out between an ass foal's legs. To take out a thorn a foxes tongue is put to the thorn and the foxes tongue draws the thorn out in a few days.
    The cure for a sty is to get ten gooseberry thorns and point them one by one to the sty and throw away the last one. This cure only be performed on Mondays and Thursdays. There is a leaf called
