    Food in Olden Times
    The people in olden times had only three meals in the day, namely their breakfast, dinner, and supper. They used to have their breakfast at nine o'clock, dinner at two, and supper at seven. The people used to work in the morning before they had their breakfast. They usually took porridge for their breakfast, potatoes and buttermilk for dinner and porridge for supper. They used to place a table int he middle of the floor and put potatoes on it and sit around it and eat them. The people of long ago used only fresh meat. Sometimes the people used to eat herrings for their dinner. Before cups became common the people used to
