were churning all day and no butter came on the milk. The man of the house got a plough chain and put it in the fire and the butter came on the milk. A woman named Mrs Dunne, lived in Lowtown and every night she used to leave a jug or a mug of milk on the table and every morning the milk would be gone. For eight nights she left the milk on the table and on the ninth morning she found a two-shilling piece on the table.
