  1. The principal school in Lauragh was built in the Millionare's land. There used be forty scholars going there. The name of the teacher was Seánaín Báille. If there were four scholars going to school they would give four shillings to join. They used learn Irish and Catechism. The master used eat in every second house. He used eat potatoes and butter for his meals. The school was divided in two parts. There were two shoemakers in one part. One day one shoemaker gave the scholars a piece of wax. The boy then put it on the chair that the master used have. When the master sat down it got stuck to his trousers. The scholars were fighting and he got
