    Gortalassa fort is on high ground in the townland of Gortalassa in Jer Kerrisks land.

    Gortalassa fort is on high ground in the townland of Gartalassa in Jer Kerrisk's land. In the centre there is a large stone. It is about 10 tons in weight. It is 12 ft in length. 5 ft in breath. 3 ft 6 ins in height. It is the shape of a boat turned up side down or prismatic in shape. There is a building under the stone. A Battle axe, a harp and a cross are cut on the western end of the stone. Hereunder is an enact drawing not to scale of above mentioned figures. It may be a dolmen.
