    One day when they had been shooting a short time a fairy stepped out of the hedge, took out his marbles and joined in the game. The two children were very frightened and ran as hard as they could to Mr. Clarke's house shouting. Mrs. Clarke asked, All they could say was "The wee Fellow." When they calmed down they told her the whole story. They never went back to Roddie's, Hill to scare away the birds from the turnips.
