  1. There is a ghost story told in our district. Often a coach and four horses were seen going up Liscarney avenue at midnight. A man in the neighbourhood made his mind up that he would have a ride in this coach. He waited one night for the coach to appear, but when he approached it, and was about to get in the coach disappeared. When the story was told many people were afraid to go past that place, especially at the dread hour of midnight. The coach has often been seen since then, but no one has ever since tried to have a ride in it.
