    Bird Lore.
Wild ducks and wild geese are the wild birds in our district. The wild ducks lay ten or eleven eggs. They build their nests a little distance from lakes. It takes them a month hatching their young ones. After they take them out,the mother bird takes her young ones to lakes with her.The wild geese do not build their nests in this district. They only build in the bog of Allen or in Co.Sligo.They lay ten, eleven or fourteen eggs.It takes them a month also to hatch them out.
