    In Penal times priest hunters were living in the townland next to ours.The townland is called Cornacassa.The priest hunters were the Hamiltons and the one most notorious was Dacre Hamilton.

    There was a Mass stone and a priest's vestment and a chalice found at Kilnahalter,Threemilehouse,Monaghan where it was buried in the Penal days,where a priest said Mass.
