  1. A leipreacain is supposed to live near a bog on Smith's road, Ballyragget. It is about two foot in height and wears a red jacket and a large wide hat.
Its occupation is shoe-making. Many people tried to catch it but could not do so. It is not very friendly and often frightens people.
Once a man was coming home from the town and the leipreacain walked with him until he came to the man's own door, then he disappeared.
