    Great Mowers of long ago Samuel McBride of the Moy Drumacrib Po. Castleblayney could mow an Irish acre in a day commencing at about nine o'clock in the morning and finishing in the evening. Wm McCulley Tullyvanis could also mow an Irish acre in the day.
    the corn was sheared long ago with teethed hooks. A man could shear about fifty or thirty stooks in the day. There would be twelve or fourteen sheaves in every stook.
    Noted Dancers. John markey Tomacrow Drumacrib Po Castleblayney was a noted dancer and singer of long ago.
    Billy Donnelly Mullyash Drumacrib Po Castleblayney was also a noted song singer and dancer of long ago. He could do step dances. Tom McConville and Thos. Burns both of Mullyash
