There are many other pathways in the vicinity and the people go on them as "near cuts"
There are many customs connected with cross roads. Long ago the people used to gather to the crossroads on Sunday evenings and play games such as skittles and dancing. The men used play music and light bonefires. These customs are still used because the young boys gather to Cabra and play games as their fathers did long ago.
There is a monument on the top of a hill in Anaglaive and the people say a giant was buried there
