    they sleep but others of them live in old houses which are uninhabited. They seldom have any food with them, so they beg for food and money. They go about in tents drawn by an ass, or a horse, and they go in bands. The best known of these are the Trainors, and they are the band that most frequently visit this vicinity. They come at all times, especially on fair-days.
