    It is supposed he went to the King of Munster for permission to convert the people to Christianity.
    Others believe he went to St. Patrick. He got leave to keep travelling from the rising to the setting of the sun, and the place where he would then have reached would be that where he should live and convert them.
    It is said that he had reached the parish of Rathmore which he converted.
    Not far from here were two sister saints of St. Crob dearg. They were St. Latern of Cullen and St.
