    There was a landlord's agent in Reabee and Knocknageeha. His name was Doctor Leary from Cork. There was another named Duggan in Knocknaseed who was far worse than Leary.
    People will never forget the police and the crowbar brigade and the fierce battle which took place in Tureencahill when the Flemings were evicted there, when the natives gave them something they did not forget for a while when they killed on of their good servants.
