- Lie on my bed my limbs I lay, God grant me grace m prayers to say, and a preserve my mother dear in health and strength for many a year and o preserve my father too, and may I pay him reverence due and may my best thoughts employ to my parents hope and joy.
This prayer is to be said every night - When you lie in bed you say -
Jesus the blossom and Mary the flower,
God bless me now, and God bless me at my dying hour.
This is another that you say when you do to bed.
Oh merciful Jesus have mercy on me. My soul and my body resign into thee.
