  1. A Fairy Story
One fine summer's morning about six o'clock when a man was lying in his bed, he heard a knock on his door. He got up to see who was knocking on the door, but there was nobody there, and the man went to bed again. About twenty minutes after the knock was heard again. The man got up again and went out to look at his horse but he found him dead in a river. People said that it was a fairy that was knocking at the door to tell the man that his horse was in a river.
