    articles. The parson told the father about the matter and he advised him that Billy should be sent away to learn his trade as a thief, or else if he caught him in future stealing any thing from him he would shoot him..
    The mason related to his son what the parson told him. Never worry father said Billy I will do as he says. So the following morning Billy left home and travelled away towards Limerick.
    He was going, going, going till the setting sun found him at the cross roads.
    Here he sat wondering where he would find a nights rest and a bit of food to eat.
    Three men came along the road they stopped and questioned him. Billy told them his story. You are the very man we want. Come along with us and we will show you your trade.
