    11. A pale or yellow sunset indicates rain.
    12. When we have rain with an east wind it is usually very heavy and stormy.
    Sings of Good Weather:
    1. If the sky is covered with stars there will be frost and if it is covered with "goat's hair" we will have hard dry weather with wind.
    2. If the mountains seem far - off it is a sign of good weather.
    3. A blood - red sunset is a sure sign of good weather.
    4. When the smoke is seen going up straight from the chimney into the sky we will have good weather.
    5. If the swallows fly high we will have fine weather.
    6. If the walls "weep" fine weather usually follows two days after.
