    Spinning and Weaving (Wool)
    In olden times spinning and weaving were very successfully carried on in every country home.
    The wool was taken off the sheep then then it oiled with rape oil. Three days after it was oiled it was carded and put in a basket until it was ready to spin on a spinning wheel.
    When it was spun if the people at home required the wool to be made into blankets or any other woolen garments it was sent to the weaver.
    But the weaver is now a thing of the past and if we want any woolen material we have to go to a shop and buy it dearly.
