The seeds and grains of shelling which comes from the second sifting of the meal. The "cutlines" are taken and put into a pan and hot water is poured on them. They are left there until they get sour.
"Bulls-milk" -
When the sowens are sour they are taken and put into a clan cloth and squeezed out and the substance that comes from the sowens is called "bulls-milk"
Flummery:-
