  1. The old cave of Masshill wood.
In Masshill wood there is an old cave where the people long ago malted barley. It is built of stone with a flagged roof and a stone table. Inside is very dark with an open entrance. There are old cans and pieces of ammunition in it yet because (while) when the civil was was in Eire the Republicans hid in this cave for a safety from the "Free States," and in many other places all around. To the back of Haran's house there is another old cave where the "Republicans" also hid.
