Devaney has a field called "Plaising". It is called because it is a big green wide field. To the left hand side of the main road running from Tubbercurry to Dromore West is a village called "Gleann". Above this is an overhanging cliff called "Carraig Ard" wich means the "High Rock".
In Masshill wood there is a huge rock called "Carraig na Walter" which means Walter's Rock. A man called Walter fell down off it and was killed.
