  1. The local fairs are held in Dromore West, in Farniharpy, Larkhill and in Easkey.
Sometimes buyers come out in the Country to buy cattle and sheep at Farmer's houses.
In Dromore West, there is a fair green in which the fair is held. If a man bought cattle at a fair he would have to pay threepence or six pence to the man that owns the fairgreen. The one that sells the beast has to give luck money to the one that buys the beast. Every one that sells cattle gives a half a crown luck money to the buyer. The seller gives on every other animal what luck money. Each one marks his animal differently sometimes a crow's foot is drawn out by scissors on the side of the animal other times they are marked by paint.
